Sana'a - Saba:
The Government of the Republic of Yemen in Sana'a early Friday condemned in the strongest terms the blatant Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which targeted the capital, Tehran, and several provinces.
In a statement, the Government of Change and Construction considered the illegitimate and unjustified Zionist aggression against Iran a new episode in the series of Zionist arrogance in the region, backed by American participation in the form of advanced weaponry, logistical support, incitement, and political and media cover.
The statement indicated that this aggression came in the wake of a systematic Western escalation against the Islamic Republic of Iran before the so-called International Atomic Energy Agency, which has become a docile tool in the hands of the Zionist entity and its supporters, applying double standards and turning a blind eye to the nuclear arsenal of the "Israeli" entity, which threatens regional security, while pursuing a peaceful program in which Iran adheres to legitimate standards and uses.
The statement said, "It is nothing new for the forces of evil to fabricate false pretexts to justify their aggression. Just as America invaded Iraq yesterday under the pretext of weapons of mass destruction, the Israeli enemy is repeating the same scenario today with Iran, using the same broken record about the non-peacefulness of its nuclear program."
The Yemeni government in Sana'a affirmed that the unjust sanctions and brutal aggression against Iran are nothing but a desperate American-Israeli attempt within the framework of the maximum pressure policy, aimed at halting their principled and unwavering support for the Palestinian people and leaving Gaza alone to confront the killing and genocide perpetrated by the Zionist entity.
The statement noted that the Government of Change and Construction is fully confident that Iranian support for the Palestinian people will not cease, and that the flame of support for the resistance will not be extinguished under any pressure, threat, sacrifice, or loss.
It stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, as we have always known it, will continue to support and aid all the oppressed and will continue working to stop the crime of the century being committed by the Zionists and Americans in Gaza and Palestine."
While the Government of Change and Reconstruction expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the people, leadership, and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for all the martyrs who have ascended during the Zionist aggression against the country, it affirmed its confidence that the Islamic Republic is capable of responding to this aggression and any violation of its sovereignty and the rights of its people.
The statement added, "Iran, which has confronted the most powerful forces and withstood siege and threats for decades, is capable today of deterring aggressors and teaching them lessons they will never forget."
The Government of Change and Reconstruction held the Israeli occupation entity and its international partners, foremost among them the United States of America, fully responsible for all the serious repercussions and consequences of this aggression at the regional and international levels.
It stressed that igniting fires in the region will only burn the fingers of those who set them, and that the arrogance of power will inevitably be shattered on the rock of truth and steadfastness.
