Occupied al-Quds– Saba:
An Israeli enemy court in the city of Hadera in occupied Palestine decided on Sunday to extend the detention of prisoner Sanaa Salama, the wife of martyred prisoner Walid Daqqa, until June 11.
The extension decision came during a session held in Hadera court amid strict procedures, without a clear indictment against her. This is a continuation of the policy of abuse practiced by Israeli authorities against the families of martyrs and prisoners.
Last Thursday, the same court had ordered Sanaa Daqqa transferred to house arrest after her arrest on allegations of "incitement to terrorism" and glorifying organizations classified as "terrorist" by the Israeli enemy.
Last Tuesday, the Israeli enemy court decided to extend Sanaa Salama Daqqa's detention for two days, despite the Israeli police's request for a seven-day extension.
Attorney Fadi Baransi explained that the allegations against Daqqa are the same ones repeated in similar cases, and are part of attempts to silence and persecute Palestinian activists.
Daqqa's arrest followed direct incitement by the so-called "Minister of National Security" in the Israeli government, the extremist war criminal Itamar Ben-Gvir, who called for her deportation on the grounds of publishing "incitement publications."
