Gaza - Saba:
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has said that limited quantities of fuel were supplied to al-Shifa Medical Complex on Sunday evening sufficient for only three days.
In a press statement, the Ministry explained that emergency measures and temporary solutions cannot allow the continuation of health services, given the increasing need for intensive care for the wounded and sick.
It added that the fuel shortage crisis, necessary to operate generators, continues to deteriorate to dangerous levels in the remaining operating hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health renewed its urgent appeal to all concerned parties to ensure the regular and adequate supply of fuel to operate generators in hospitals.
