Two people, a 56-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, were injured in a knife attack by a woman in Munich, Germany.
According to the German newspaper Bild on Sunday, the attacker was identified as a Bulgarian citizen.
The newspaper previously reported that around 8:00 PM local time (18:00 GMT) near Theresienwiese Square, a 30-year-old woman attacked several people, causing minor injuries with a knife. The woman was shot while resisting the arriving police and later died in the hospital.
The motives for her actions are unknown, according to police, and the condition of the victims has not been determined.
According to the newspaper, the woman was a Bulgarian citizen and lived near the scene of the attack.
According to Bild, the attacker may have suffered from a mental health condition.
