Zionist settlers assaulted the Armenian Monastery and Christian holy sites during their storming of the Armenian Quarter in the Old City of occupied Quds.
A video clip published today, Wednesday, showed settlers attacking the Armenian Quarter on Tuesday. They were seen spitting on the Armenian Monastery, crosses, and sacred symbols—an act that marks a new escalation in violations against Christian and Islamic holy sites in the city, according to the Palestinian News Agency “WAFA.”
Occupied Jerusalem is witnessing a serious uptick in attacks carried out by settlers against Christian properties and sacred sites, amid clear complicity from the Israeli occupation authorities.
Journalist Kegham Balyan from the Armenian Quarter reported that the Israeli police station is just a minute away from the Armenian Monastery, yet officers arrived 25 minutes after the assault, only after the attackers had left.
Balyan attached a photo documenting the incident in his post on the “X” platform, amid growing calls for urgent international action to protect Christian presence in occupied Jerusalem and to put an end to the violations committed by the Israeli regime and its settlers against holy sites.
