Gaza - Saba:
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Wednesday that they had targeted an Israeli "Merkava" tank the previous day in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Al-Qassam said they struck a "Zionist Merkava tank with a Yasin 105 shell," causing a fire inside the vehicle on Tuesday near the Martyrs' Junction in the Ma'an area, south of Khan Younis.

The Brigades noted that their fighters observed enemy helicopter landings to evacuate casualties from the targeted site.

Al-Qassam and other resistance factions in the Gaza Strip continue their military operations against the invading enemy forces in various areas of the Strip, inflicting material and human losses.
