Tulkarm - Saba:
For the 129th consecutive day, the Zionist enemy forces continue their aggression on the city of Tulkarm , its camp, and for the 116th day on Nur Shams camp, amid a widespread military escalation and the demolition of houses.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), enemy bulldozers began demolishing houses in Nur Shams camp this morning, continuing the destruction of residential buildings carried out over the past weeks, which has already resulted in the demolition of more than 20 structures. This is part of an Israeli plan to demolish 106 buildings in the two camps (58 in Tulkarm camp and 48 in Nur Shams) to open roads and alter their geographical features.
The agency added that the enemy forces continue to impose a strict siege on Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps and their surroundings, deploying troops in alleys, neighborhoods, and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their houses to check on them or retrieve their belongings. The forces also open direct fire on anyone attempting to approach.
Meanwhile, the enemy forces escalated provocations in the city this morning, as their military vehicles and infantry patrols roamed the main streets, particularly Nablus Street, the vicinity of Thabet Thabet Government Hospital, and the city center. The forces continuously sounded vehicle horns, drove against traffic in a provocative manner, obstructed civilian movement, and rammed into several vehicles.
Additionally, enemy foot and mounted patrols spread into the city’s outskirts, specifically in Dhanaba, Arta, and Aktaba, conducting searches and sweeps around houses and fields, stopping young men, inspecting their IDs, and subjecting them to interrogation.
The enemy also tightened measures at the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm, stopping and thoroughly searching vehicles, interrogating passengers, and scrutinizing IDs, with arbitrary procedures often leading to the checkpoint’s complete closure.
Meanwhile, the enemy forces continue to occupy several residential buildings on Nablus Street and in the northern neighborhood of the city after forcibly evacuating their residents, turning them into military barracks—some of which have been under enemy control for over three months.
Nablus Street, the main road connecting Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, has suffered significant damage due to earthen berms erected by enemy forces months ago, obstructing vehicle movement and worsening citizens’ suffering.
This ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant—along with dozens of injuries and arrests, as well as widespread destruction of infrastructure, houses, shops, and vehicles.
According to the latest data, the escalation has displaced over 5,000 families from the two camps (more than 25,000 citizens), with at least 400 houses completely destroyed and 2,573 partially damaged, while the entrances to the camps remain blocked by berms, turning them into near-deserted areas.
