Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Quds Governorate stated that two young men were killed by Israeli occupation forces, and 41 Qudsies were arrested in occupied Quds during May.
The governorate explained in a report published on Wednesday that 17-year-old Muhammad Nidal Abu Libdeh was killed on the steps of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and his body was withheld. Fouad Muhammad Alian, 30, from the village of Beit Safafa, west of Quds, was also killed after settlers attacked him and his cousin while they were in a public park.
The governorate noted that the number of Qudsie bodies held in Israeli morgues and numbered cemeteries had risen to 47 by the end of March 2025, a continuation of the punitive policy pursued by Israeli authorities against the families of martyrs.
It stated that settlers carried out 46 attacks against Palestinian citizens, their property, and holy sites, amid a marked escalation in the pace of attacks, all of which occurred under the protection of Israeli forces.
The report documented approximately (17) injuries resulting from gunfire and severe beatings, in addition to cases of suffocation from tear gas, including (six) injuries resulting from settler attacks.
Regarding attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, the report stated that 6,767 settlers stormed the mosque during May, under the protection of Israeli forces.
It also indicated that Israeli forces arrested 41 Qudsies during May, including 6 children and 4 women.
The Quds Governorate documented Israeli courts issuing 26 prison sentences against Qudsie prisoners during May, including 19 administrative detention sentences. These sentences reflect the Israeli occupation's escalating policy of targeting detainees, which contributes to exacerbating their suffering.
It documented Israeli authorities issuing seven house arrest orders and five deportation orders, including four from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Regarding demolitions and bulldozing operations, Israeli authorities carried out 42 demolitions and bulldozing operations last month targeting homes, facilities, barns, agricultural rooms, and other structures in Quds.
According to the report, these operations included (15) forced self-demolitions, during which Qudsies were forced to demolish their own homes to avoid heavy fines. These operations also included (22) demolitions carried out by force by the occupation forces, and (five) bulldozing operations targeting Qudsies' lands and property.
The enemy issued 17 demolition orders in the governorate, in addition to one seizure order.
One of the most notable orders was delivering a demolition notice to the residents of the Al-Wa'ad building in Wadi Qaddum in the town of Silwan. The building, which comprises 12 apartments and is home to approximately 85 Qudsies, was demolished.
Regarding settlement activity, the Quds Governorate monitored 19 settlement plans during May.
These were distributed as follows: eight plans were deposited, four plans were approved, one plan was put up for tender, five settlement projects were initiated, and one settlement project was inaugurated.
