Moscow - Saba: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its forces had captured a new town in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, eliminating 875 soldiers, while its air defenses shot down 199 drones.
The ministry said in a statement that as a result of the offensive operations, units of the Russian Northern Group seized control of the town of Andriyivka in Sumy Oblast.
It noted that Russian forces targeted Ukrainian armed forces in several areas, resulting in the loss of several armored combat vehicles, personnel carriers, vehicles, field artillery, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations.
