Tribal mediation successfully on Tuesday concluded a three-year-old murder case between al-Hamdani family of Hamdan tribe and al-Tam family of Bilad al-Rus tribe in Sana'a governorate.
During the reconciliation, attended by Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dhaifullah Rassam and led by Sheikh Mohammed al-Zalab, the heirs of the victim, Karim Walid Ali al-Tam, announced their forgiveness of the perpetrator, Ayman Fouad Ali al-Hamdani, for God's sake and in honor of those present.
Sheikh al-Zalab commended al-Tam family and Bilad al-Rus tribe for their pardon, done for God's sake and in response to the directives of the Revolution Leader to promote reconciliation and resolve societal issues. He emphasized the need for unity to confront the Zionist-American aggression.
Sheikh al-Zalab stated that the Yemeni sheikhs acknowledged the gravity of the situation, as Yemeni blood is sacred. He and other tribal leaders came to hear the Al-Tam family's decision and offered their support.
Representatives from the Capital Sana'a and Sana'a governorate emphasized that resolving the case reflects the revolutionary leadership's directives to unify the internal front and strengthen tribal bonds, showcasing Yemeni cohesion against the "American-Zionist aggression."
They praised al-Tam family's forgiveness, embodying Yemeni tribal values of tolerance and brotherhood, and noted that resolving the case strengthens unity and overcomes disputes.
They considered al-Tam family's stance a message to enemies that Yemenis are resolving internal issues to preserve social unity and confront current challenges.
Sheikhs from various Yemeni tribes lauded al-Tam family's pardon, urging tribesmen to strengthen reconciliation efforts and prioritize the nation's interests.
Sheikh Mohammed al-Zalab presented the Shield of Loyalty to al-Tam family and the Bilad al-Rus tribe in appreciation, while the Hamdan tribes raised white flags in support.
