Sana'a - Saba:
The Capital Secretariat dispatched on Wednesday a convoy of Eid sacrificial animals to the defenders stationed on the fronts of dignity and honor, in celebration of the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
The convoy, which included a thousand heads of sheep and a number of cows, was sent as part of ongoing support for the fronts through financial aid and convoys of generosity and supplies, in solidarity with the heroes who have uplifted the pride of Yemenis.
During the dispatch, the Capital Mayor, Dr. Hamoud Abad, expressed pride in the stances of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi, in confronting the Zionists and Americans, driving transformative change, and raising the banner of Islam.
Abad affirmed that supporting the defenders on the fronts is the least that can be done in return for their sacrifices in the cause of God and in defense of the Yemeni people and national sovereignty.
Meanwhile, the First Deputy Mayor of the Capital, Khaled Al-Madani, explained that the convoy, prepared and delivered by the Capital Secretariat with participation from both community and official entities, embodies gratitude and recognition for the defenders who have left their homes and families to protect the homeland.
He stressed that the convoy is the least that can be offered to the defenders on the fronts of dignity and honor, who sacrifice their lives in the cause of God and give everything precious they have.
Al-Madani noted that the sacrifices and dedication of the heroes have borne fruits of pride, dignity, and victory for the Yemeni people in the face of the American and Zionist enemy. He emphasized that if given the opportunity, Yemenis would share their sacrifices with their brothers in Gaza.
