Al-Hodeidah – Saba
The Al-Hodeidah branch of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society launched a project today to distribute Eid clothing packages to vulnerable groups in Al-Hodeidah city under the slogan “Clothe them and Allah will enrich you.”
The project aims to distribute 1,200 clothing packages to the poor, orphans, and people affected by floods in the districts of Al-Hali, Al-Hawak, and Al-Mina, as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the most in-need families and to promote social solidarity, especially with the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday.
Jaber Al-Razhi, Director of the Red Crescent’s Al-Hodeidah branch, explained that the project is part of a series of activities the organization carries out annually during religious occasions, aiming to bring joy to the hearts of those in need, particularly orphaned children and their families.
Al-Razhi emphasized that the society operates with a comprehensive humanitarian vision, aiming to expand its services in the upcoming phase. He called on donors and charitable organizations to enhance community partnerships and support such initiatives that help relieve the suffering of vulnerable groups.
He also praised the efforts of the volunteers and field teams who contributed to the success of the distribution campaign, affirming the organization’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian work, especially amid the extraordinary circumstances facing the country.
