The distribution of Eid al-Adha clothing to the children of martyrs began on Monday in Hodeida province, a gesture of national and moral solidarity.
Ahmed al-Bishri, Hodeida province undersecretary inaugurated the initiative in the city square, which is being implemented by the Martyrs Foundation under the auspices of the Fifth Military Region.
Al-Bishri emphasized that this distribution signifies loyalty and gratitude for the profound sacrifices made by martyrs for the homeland's dignity. He highlighted the local authorities' unwavering commitment to martyrs' families, considering them a top humanitarian and national priority.
The undersecretary explained that this initiative exemplifies the growing community solidarity within Hodeida governorate and reflects the dedication of official and community entities to those who have given so much for the nation's pride.
He underscored that the children of martyrs are deserving of consistent support and care, particularly during religious holidays, which offer an opportunity to strengthen community bonds.
Al-Bishri called for the expansion of such programs and urged all official and charitable institutions to continue their contributions to this segment of society. He advocated for a collective spirit to foster sustainable and practical initiatives in care, education, and empowerment.
Ali al-Shaathmi, Director of the Martyrs Foundation, stated that the project specifically targets the children of martyrs in al-Mina, al-Hali, and al-Hawak districts.
He noted that this distribution is part of a broader series of social care programs regularly implemented by the Foundation to honor and show loyalty to the martyrs.
