Tulkarm - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp in the northern occupied West Bank for the 127th consecutive day, and for the 114th day against the Nur Shams camp, amid widespread field escalation and a stifling siege.
Israeli forces have tightened their security measures at their military checkpoints near the city's entrances, specifically the Anab military checkpoint to the east.
Local sources reported that the enemy forces control the opening and closing of the checkpoint arbitrarily, obstructing the movement of citizens and creating long-term traffic jams.
They added that the forces occasionally set up a military checkpoint at the Jabara Bridge gate south of the city, stopping and thoroughly searching vehicles, and interrogating passengers. These measures often include the complete closure of the checkpoint and a complete ban on passage.
The occupation continues to impose a tight siege on the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps. Its forces are deployed in the alleys and neighborhoods, preventing residents from reaching their homes to check on them or retrieve their belongings, and opening fire directly at anyone who tries to approach.
Enemy forces have seized a number of residential buildings on Nablus Street and the northern neighborhood of the city after forcibly evacuating their residents. They have transformed these buildings into military barracks, some of which have been under occupation control for more than three months.
Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, has suffered significant damage due to the earth mounds placed by the occupation forces several months ago, impeding vehicle movement and increasing the suffering of residents.
The ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 13 citizens, in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests, and widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.
More than 4,200 families, representing over 25,000 residents, have been displaced from the two camps. At least 400 homes have been completely destroyed, and 2,573 others have been partially damaged. The entrances to the camps remain blocked with barriers, transforming them into almost lifeless areas.
