The Palestinian Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and Ex-Prisoners revealed on Sunday that prisoners in the Israeli Megiddo Prison are suffering terribly as a result of the starvation and beatings inflicted by the prison administration, especially the young prisoners.

The Commission's lawyer said that prisoner Fadi Ibrahim Shami (24 years old, a resident of Nablus) lost 22 kilograms due to the ongoing starvation of prisoners in all Israeli prisons, he was arrested on May 11, 2023, and his trial is scheduled for June 22, 2025, according to the Ma'an News Agency.
