Paris- Saba:
Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has expressed his pride on Sunday in his team Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League title win, following a crushing 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the final held yesterday, Saturday, in Munich.
Hakimi posted a photo of himself on his official Instagram account holding the prestigious trophy, accompanied by the caption: "The first Champions League in history!" This indicates that this title is the first of its kind in the history of the French capital club.
Hakimi played a prominent role in Paris Saint-Germain's successful European campaign, not only by scoring the first goal in the final, but also through his outstanding performance during the knockout stages, where he performed brilliantly and contributed goals and assists, making him one of the team's most prominent stars in the tournament.
Hakimi became the first Moroccan player to score in a Champions League final, and he also made history as the third Arab player to achieve this feat, following Algerian Rabah Madjer (1987) and Egyptian Mohamed Salah (2019).
Hakimi's name was also linked to a new personal achievement, becoming the first Arab player to win the Champions League twice with two different clubs: the first with Real Madrid in 2018 and the second with Paris Saint-Germain in 2025.
