Jericho - Saba:
Israeli settlers began establishing a new settlement outpost on Friday evening, west of the town of Al-Auja, north of Jericho.
Hassan Malihat, the General Supervisor of "Al-Baidar" Organization for Defending Bedouin Rights, told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Bedouins in Al-Auja area observed settlers bringing in vehicles and setting up iron bases and sheds west of Al-Auja, near the so-called "Na'aran" settlement. They then started constructing an outpost overlooking Al-Auja and the Ka'abneh community southwest of the town.
Last Sunday, settlers established another outpost near residential areas in Bedouin community of "Shalal Al-Auja," north of Jericho.
In April of this year, settlers attempted to establish at least nine new outposts across the West Bank, most of which were agricultural and pastoral in nature.
