Gaza - Saba:
A senior source in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, stated on Thursday evening that what some media outlets have reported regarding the movement's position on the latest ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip is "incorrect."
The source told Al Jazeera that the movement is still studying the proposal with national responsibility.
Earlier on Thursday, Hamas said in a statement that it had "received the new proposal from mediators and is studying it responsibly, in a manner that achieves the interests of the Palestinian people, provides them relief, and secures a permanent ceasefire in the Strip."
