Kyiv - (Saba):
At least eight people were injured in an attack by Russian drones on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.
The military governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleh Synyehubov, explained via Telegram that the attack resulted in eight injuries, including two young men.
In the same context, Igor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv, said that the attack targeted "one of the municipal institutions" in the city, using at least eight combat drones, without revealing the nature of the facility or revealing further details.
He added that the attack caused a large fire at the targeted site, while extinguishing operations and initial damage assessments are ongoing.
Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, has witnessed an escalation in the pace of Russian attacks in recent weeks, amid ongoing military operations since the outbreak of the conflict on February 24, 2022.
