Gaza - (Saba):
Saraya al-Quds, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Friday that it had carried out two operations, one of which was jointly conducted with the al-Qassam Brigades (the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas), targeting Zionist forces in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Brigades said that it had carried out a joint operation with the al-Qassam Brigades, in which the mujahideen eliminated a Zionist force that had penetrated the European area, southeast of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The statement explained that the mujahideen targeted the Zionist force with an anti-personnel missile and engaged it directly at point-blank range.
It reported that the second operation was carried out by the al-Quds Brigades, when they targeted a special Zionist force of 10 soldiers who had taken refuge inside one of the European housing buildings with a "TBG" missile.
The Brigades reported that the operation resulted in the deaths and injuries of Israeli soldiers, which necessitated the landing of a number of helicopters at the site at 4:00 PM on Thursday.
