Occupied Quds - Saba:
Hundreds of settlers stormed, on Sunday evening, Al-Buraq Square in Al-Aqsa Mosque (the western wall of the mosque).
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Al-Quds Governorate reported that large numbers of settlers stormed Al-Buraq Square on the eve of the anniversary of the occupation of Al-Quds, and raised the enemy's flag.
At noon today, enemy forces deployed iron barriers in the vicinity of Damascus Gate, at the entrance to the Old City of Quds, in preparation for the "provocative flag march" of settlers scheduled for tomorrow, Monday.
The "flag march" is scheduled to start from Al-Buraq Square, passing through Bab al-Amud and Wadi neighborhood inside the Old City, which are densely populated by Palestinians.
Al-Quds Governorate warned of a dangerous escalation in the occupied city, as the enemy authorities continue to organize a series of Judaization events aimed at imposing Israeli sovereignty over it and establishing the reality of occupation by force, in flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions.
In a statement, the governorate emphasized that this annual march comes within a systematic provocative agenda, which is usually accompanied by attacks on Palestinians, and the chanting of racist slogans against Muslims and Christians, under heavy protection from the enemy police, which will impose a complete closure on the area starting at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon.
It is noteworthy that the frequency of settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque has escalated significantly since the start of the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
