The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine strongly on Friday condemned the "monopolization of essential goods, exorbitant price increases, and excessive fees for withdrawing money," deeming these practices a "national and moral crime" committed amidst the ongoing genocide and starvation in Gaza.
The Front described monopolists and war profiteers as an "emergency category" that stabs the steadfast Palestinian people, asserting they are no different from the occupation.
It called for official and popular oversight, public accountability for those involved, emphasizing that "accountability is not an option, but a national and moral right and necessity."
