Videos and photos have circulated on social media in Libya documenting the outbreak of fires in various areas of the Green Mountain in the east of the country.
The videos, widely shared by Libyan citizens, showed flames and thick smoke rising from forests located in the city of Marj, the Wardama area, and Wadi al-Kuf, areas known for their dense vegetation within the Green Mountain range.
