Speaker of the Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidarous on Wednesday sent a congratulatory cable to Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.
Al-Aidarous expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Political Council, the Speakers of the Parliament, the Ministers, and the Supreme Judiciary, and through them to the heroes of the armed and security forces and all the Yemeni people on this national occasion.
He emphasized that Yemeni unity represented a national gain for all Yemeni generations and was never the property of individuals, groups, or parties. Rather, it is the will of a free people who rejected division and fragmentation and fought for the unity of the greater Yemeni nation.
Al-Aidarous pointed out that unity is deeply rooted in the conscience of the Yemeni people and will not be affected by the hostile colonial projects that sought in the past and are currently seeking to divide the nation, with the complicity of those with narrow agendas.
He called for strengthening unity and standing with the revolutionary and political leadership to confront divisive projects aimed at weakening Yemen, destroying the capabilities of the Yemeni people, and plundering its wealth.
The Speaker of the Shura Council explained that Yemeni unity is a spiritual and religious value, making it a source of pride, advancement, peace, and glory for the Yemeni people, and a lifeline from all dangers, as it derives its existence from the awareness of the people.
He emphasized that the Yemeni people, who have made enormous sacrifices to achieve victory for their national choices and vital issues, will accept nothing less than a free, dignified, and unified Yemen, free from all threats to its territorial integrity and social fabric.
Al-Aidarous explained that this national occasion comes to the Yemeni people as they wage the battle of "holy jihad and the promised conquest" against America, Israel, and their allies in the region, who are conspiring against the Yemeni people as a result of their honorable positions in support of the Palestinian people.
Al-Aidarous renewed his blessing and support for the qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories, and the imposition of an air and sea embargo on Lod Airport and Haifa Port until the Zionist entity stops its aggression on Gaza and allows the entry of food and medicine to the besieged people in the Strip.
He asked God Almighty to return this national occasion to the Yemeni people with goodness, security and safety, and to achieve victory and clear conquest for them and the Palestinian people.
