Dublin - Saba:
Irish Foreign Minister Simon Harris has said that the genocide and obstruction of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip are an insult to human dignity and a flagrant violation of international law.
In press statements on Wednesday, Harris stressed that what is happening in the Gaza Strip is an insult to human dignity, and "we will not remain silent about it."
He pointed out that the Israeli enemy's obstruction of aid to the Gaza Strip is a flagrant violation of international law. He added that the aid allowed into Gaza is insufficient, and the new distribution mechanism is ineffective.
Harris explained that the Israeli enemy launched a new ground operation in the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the situation there, while targeting paramedics, journalists, and children in Gaza. "It is difficult to see this day and night."
He called on the Israeli enemy to put an end to the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, noting that alarm bells are ringing regarding the possible death of 15,000 children in the Strip.
In this context, the Irish Foreign Minister condemned Israeli practices in the West Bank, adding, "We will work to create appropriate legislation to ban products from Israeli settlements in the West Bank."
