The Palestinian Freedom Movement condemned and denounced the statements made by the outgoing President of the so-called "Palestinian Authority," Mahmoud Abbas, in his speech at the Arab Summit in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, calling for the disarmament of the resistance and its handover to the Palestinian Authority.
In a statement, the movement denounced these statements, considering them "not commensurate with the struggle and sacrifices of the Palestinian people, and a clear declaration of surrender in light of the war waged by the Zionist occupation against all living things in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, and the occupied West Bank, which the Palestinian Authority controls with its weapons and under its rule."
