The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said that while the Security Council was holding its session to discuss the "humanitarian situation" in the Gaza Strip, US-made Israeli warplanes were raining down their bombardments on civilians and displaced persons in Jabalia, marking a new massacre to be added to the open record of genocide.

The PFLP added in a press statement on Wednesday that despite the escalating atrocities in Gaza, the world is watching with shameful silence as Jabalia and other areas of the Gaza Strip are being transformed into incinerators, perpetrated before everyone's eyes.

It stressed that this international silence reflects unjustified complicity and is damning testimony to the international community's inability to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities to protect civilians.
