Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine condemned the heinous crime committed by Zionist forces in assassinating Palestinian journalist Hassan Aslih inside his treatment room at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis this morning, considering it a "blatant violation of all human values and a breach of the sanctity of medical institutions."
In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, it said, "This criminal act confirms that the enemy forces are no longer content with violating international humanitarian law by targeting civilians and the wounded, but are continuing their anti-humanitarian crimes by attacking medical facilities and violating the immunity of patients and the wounded under the alleged cover of a 'security persecution.'
It added, "We prove to the international community that the assassination of the original journalist Hassan Aslih, who was receiving treatment for a previous injury resulting from a treacherous bombing on April 7, is a war crime that does not expire with a statute of limitations.
His pure blood rings an alarm bell regarding the ongoing systematic assassinations of journalists in Gaza, the death toll of which has risen to more than 215 since the outbreak of the current aggression."
