The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces had captured a new town in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, eliminating 1,035 soldiers, and shooting down 74 drones and eight guided bombs.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated in a statement on Tuesday that "thanks to the decisive operations carried out by units of the Russian Center Group, the town of Myrolyubovka in Donetsk Oblast has been captured."
It added that Russian forces targeted Ukrainian Armed Forces formations in several areas in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy Oblasts, noting that Ukrainian forces lost a number of tanks, armored combat vehicles, personnel carriers, field artillery, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations as a result.
