Rome - (Saba):
AC Milan will face Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Coppa Italia final.
Milan qualified for the final after defeating Inter Milan 4-1 over two legs in the semi-finals, while Bologna defeated Empoli 5-1 on aggregate in the same round.
Both teams are looking to win to secure the title and salvage their season, given their unsatisfactory league position. Milan is in eighth place with 60 points, just two points behind seventh-place Bologna.
Milan is hoping to win its first title in the competition since 2003, when it defeated Roma in the final. They have five titles to their name (1967, 1972, 1973, 1977, and 2003) and are aiming for a sixth.
Bologna, on the other hand, won the title for the first time in 1970 and then repeated the achievement in 1974, but they have not reached the championship podium since that final victory over Palermo and are looking forward to a third title.
