Gaza - Saba:
The Israeli enemy army announced Monday evening that it had officially received the Israeli-American prisoner Idan Alexander from the Red Cross, and that he is in good health.
An Israeli enemy army spokesperson said that an "elite unit" of the army is currently escorting Idan Alexander on his way to the Ra'im base inside the occupied Palestinian territories, noting that he will undergo an initial medical evaluation and meet with his family members.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas," announced the release of prisoner Idan Alexander on Monday.
Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement that it released Alexander "after contacts with the US administration as part of the efforts being made by mediators to achieve a ceasefire, open the crossings, and bring in aid and relief to our people in the Gaza Strip."
Al-Qassam added that this step comes after important contacts in which the movement demonstrated positivity and high flexibility.
It emphasized that serious and responsible negotiations achieve results in the release of prisoners, while continuing the aggression prolongs their suffering and may even kill them.
Hamas affirmed the movement's readiness to immediately begin negotiations to reach a comprehensive, sustainable ceasefire agreement, the withdrawal of the enemy army, the end of the blockade, a prisoner exchange, and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
It urged the administration of US President Donald Trump to continue its efforts to end the brutal Zionist aggression against children, women, and defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip.
