Gaza - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has said that "the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is beyond imagination amid the ongoing bombing, blockade, and famine."
In press statements on Sunday, the agency added that tens of thousands of displaced Palestinian families are facing the collapse of infrastructure and the overflow of sewage.
The UN agency stressed the need to lift the blockade on Gaza to ensure the delivery of vital humanitarian and commercial supplies.
Earlier today, UNRWA warned of the catastrophic consequences of the continued tightened Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, which is entering its ninth week, amid the complete ban on the entry of humanitarian, medical, and commercial aid.
UNRWA said in a statement published on Sunday via "X" platform that it has thousands of trucks loaded with aid ready to enter the Strip, and that its teams on the ground are ready to expand relief operations as soon as this is permitted.
