The enemy Army Radio reported that five reserve brigades have been recruited so far as part of expanded operations in Gaza.
The radio reported that two reserve infantry and armored brigades have been recruited to expand the operation in Gaza. The army did not provide data on the response rate of the recruited reserve brigades.
For their part, senior officers in the Israeli Army warned that calling up reserve brigades would entail a "very high price," both on the ground and in terms of human and economic costs.
