Sana'a - Saba:

Parliament speaker Yahya al-Ra’i on Saturday visited the summer course activities at Imam Zaid bin Ali Center at the September 26 School in Altahrir district in the capital Sana'a.

Accompanied by Secretary-General of the Council, Abdullah al Qasimi and Assistant Secretary-General Abdulrahman al-Mansour, al-Ra’i reviewed the implementation of various activities and programs and the students' engagement.

They listened to creative presentations by students from the Imam Zaid, the martyr Zaid Ali Musleh (at Al-Kibsi Mosque), and Imam al-Hadi centers.

The Speaker emphasized the importance of these summer activities in protecting youth from the dangers of "soft war" by providing awareness and educational programs to counter harmful cultures and ideas that aim to undermine the nation's faith identity and Quranic culture.

He highlighted the role of summer schools in developing students' knowledge and skills, teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences, and refining talents. He stressed the need to unite efforts to support the success of these courses and programs aimed at building a conscious generation for Yemen's present and future.

Al-Ra’i also listened to those in charge of the courses explain the educational programs, skill-based activities, and sports offered to students.

He praised the high level of attendance and engagement in the various summer course activities, reflecting the awareness of families and society regarding the importance of preparing a generation capable of navigating current challenges, and commended the parents' commitment to providing their children with beneficial knowledge under the slogan "science and jihad".
