Mahweet University on Saturday began offering free, week-long remedial courses for male and female high school students planning to take medical college entrance exams for the 2025 academic year.
These courses will provide a comprehensive review of scientific subjects relevant to university majors. The university stated that this initiative aims to facilitate students' access to higher education, especially in core subjects crucial for competitive exams.
University's vice rector for postgraduate studies and scientific research Dr. Mohammed San'a and university secretary-general Abdullatif al-Akhram emphasized that these courses demonstrate the university's ongoing commitment to providing a fair and equal educational environment for all students, including those from remote and rural areas.
