The governor of the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia region, Ivan Fedorov, announced on Friday that Russian forces had shelled eight villages in the south of the region approximately 220 times, despite the three-day ceasefire Moscow announced starting Thursday.
Fedorov said via Telegram that the shelling included the use of up to 150 drones and 70 artillery shells over the past 24 hours, noting that the affected villages are located in the southern regions of Zaporizhzhia.
