Sana'a - Saba:
The Secretary-General of the Local Council of Sana'a Governorate, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, today inspected the progress of work on the asphalt project for Al-Thalathin Street in the Al-Sawad area between the New Sana'a and Sanhan districts.
The Secretary-General, accompanied by members of the Administrative Board, Abdul Salam Al-Jaifi, Mahyoub Mahdi, and Ali Al-Suhaili, and the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntaser, reviewed the work on the project, which is being implemented by the Executive Unit for Projects under the supervision of the Governorate's Public Works Department. The project is valued at 201 million riyals and is funded by the governorate's local authority.
They listened to an explanation from the Governorate's Public Works Department official, Engineer Mohammed Ashiyah, and the Acting Director of the Executive Unit, Engineer Mohammed Makram, about the work on the project, which is being implemented according to technical standards and specifications and within the specified timeframe.
Al-Jilani affirmed the governorate's local authority leadership's commitment to implementing service projects that contribute to meeting citizens' needs. He emphasized the need to improve the implementation of road projects, which will contribute to preserving transportation and reducing traffic congestion.
They were accompanied during the visit by the directors of the New Sana'a District, Abdullah Al-Marouni, and the director of the District's Public Works Department, Ammar Naji.
