Sana'a - Saba:

The Yemeni Basketball Federation will launch the Second Division General League on Wednesday evening, May 7, 2025, featuring 13 teams from across Yemen's governorates. The league follows the results of the 2023 classification tournament and will be held in two stages:

Tournament Structure:
1. First Stage:
- Home-and-away matches based on geographical distribution.

2. Second Stage:
- Held in Sana'a and Seiyun with a group format.
- The winner of each group advances to the First Division.

Opening Match:
- Talaea Taiz vs. Shaab Ibb at Al-Shuhada Stadium in Taiz.
- Matches will continue until May 12.

Federation’s Commitment:
Despite challenges, the Yemeni Basketball Federation emphasized its determination to hold the league to ensure a successful season and identify the two promoted teams to the First Division.
