Hodeida - Saba:
Hodeida governor Abdullah Atifa on Tuesday checked on the condition of those wounded in the US-Zionist aggression that targeted Bajel Cement Factory on Monday, resulting in four deaths and injuries to 35 factory staff.
Accompanied by Bajel District Director Abdul-Moneim al-Rifai, Governor Atifa reviewed the health status of the injured at Bajel Central Hospital and the progress of the medical response provided in the emergency and intensive care units.
He listened to the medical staff's explanation of the injuries and the efforts of the emergency teams, emphasizing the importance of intensifying efforts to stabilize the health of the wounded.
The Governor stressed the need to continue enhancing the hospital's medical preparedness, including staff and supplies, recognizing the sacrifices of workers in production facilities as the frontline of the economic battle.
He stated that the bombing of a major civilian facility like the Bajel Cement Factory reveals the criminal nature of the American-Zionist aggression, which targets the Yemeni people's livelihoods and infrastructure in a failed attempt to break their resilience.
Governor Atifi condemned this as a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws, denouncing the systematic targeting of the cement factory as a dangerous escalation against the national economy aimed at paralyzing the country's production capabilities.
He emphasized that these crimes will not deter Yemenis from continuing construction and production, and that the true response is to intensify efforts towards self-sufficiency. He warned that continued international silence encourages further crimes against Yemenis.
