Sana'a - Saba:
A training course within the educational program of the lectures of the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, on the lessons from Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) covenant to Malik al-Ashtar, concluded on Monday at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Sana'a.
The 12-day course, organized by the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision Support, targeted 60 participants from the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Youth Care Fund, and affiliated entities.
During the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabeh Abu Shawsa emphasized the importance of the course, which included a comprehensive mental map, themes, components of work principles and rules. He highlighted its positive impact, as participants gained scientific knowledge and spiritual insights that contribute to improving performance, enhancing work practices, increasing productivity, and refining character.
Abu Shawsa stressed the need to optimally benefit from the course’s outcomes and translate the covenant’s contents into practical, executable mechanisms to advance administrative work, uphold authentic values, and foster responsibility.
He described the intellectual legacy of Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) era as a faith-based and human heritage, noting that the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, skillfully linked the covenant’s teachings to contemporary realities in a professional and beneficial manner for all state institutions.
Meanwhile, Yahya al-Mahqari, Head of the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision Support, explained that this covenant embodies a Quranic vision reflecting divine methodology in establishing justice, policies, directives, and standards that must be adhered to in all positions of responsibility and state functions at various levels.
He pointed out that the lectures of the Leader, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, provided a comprehensive reading of this blessed covenant as a pure Quranic reference that touches on all guiding principles, values, practical rules, and behaviors in every area of responsibility. He noted that scholars in other countries have examined aspects of Imam Ali’s covenant, considering it a comprehensive reference due to its beneficial instructions and profound meanings.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed al-Suraihi, Director of the Sports Medicine Center, speaking on behalf of the participants, underscored the importance of the course and the pressing need for such training programs and profound lessons. He highlighted the participants’ significant benefit from its contents, guiding principles, noble values, and essential administrative standards.
The course aimed to enhance participants' understanding of Islamic administrative principles, promote ethical leadership, and apply Imam Ali’s timeless teachings to modern governance and youth development.
