Mexico City, Texas - Saba:
Two earthquakes measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale struck southern Mexico and Texas, USA, Sunday morning. There are no reports of damage or casualties.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake struck 59 kilometers (37 miles) from Whites City, southern Mexico, at a depth of 59 kilometers.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre also announced this morning that an earthquake of the same magnitude struck Texas at 01:47 UTC, 185 kilometers (115 miles) west of Odessa, at a depth of 8 kilometers.
