Gaza - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned on Friday that the Israeli siege on Gaza Strip is silently claiming more lives of women and children daily, in addition to those killed by airstrikes.
In a post on the platform "X," UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated, "Children, women, and the elderly in Gaza are being collectively punished," as two months of the suffocating Israeli siege and the blocking of humanitarian aid have passed.
Lazzarini called on Israel to lift the siege on Palestinians and allow the flow of essential supplies into Gaza Strip.
On March 2, the Israeli occupation authorities closed the crossings to humanitarian aid and fuel, resuming the ongoing genocide.
