A meeting was held in Al Hodeida Governorate, chaired by the Chairman of the Investment Authority, Yasser Al Mansour, and the Deputy Governor, Mohammed Al Nahari, to discuss enhancing tourism investment opportunities in the governorate.
The meeting discussed ways to exploit the governorate's natural and environmental resources to revitalize the tourism sector, with a focus on simplifying procedures and removing obstacles for investors.
Al Mansour emphasized the existence of untapped tourism potential in Hodeida, which requires improving the investment environment and providing incentives to attract investors. Al Nahari highlighted the importance of planning to establish an integrated tourism zone along the coastal strip from the Grand Roundabout to Ghalifiqa.
The meeting concluded with recommendations, including the preparation of an executive plan to establish an integrated tourism zone and enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors, with the aim of stimulating tourism, providing job opportunities, and strengthening the local economy.
