Moscow - Saba:

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces inflicted losses on the Ukrainian armed forces on the Kursk axis, before the Easter truce took effect, amounting to more than 155 soldiers, in addition to the destruction of military equipment over the past 24 hours.

Sputnik quoted the ministry yesterday, Sunday, in a report on the progress made in repelling Ukrainian incursions into the Russian Kursk region: "In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces lost more than 155 soldiers, two armored personnel carriers, one armored vehicle, four vehicles, four artillery pieces, an Uragan multiple rocket launcher, and an electronic warfare station."

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that Ukrainian armed forces had carried out 900 airstrikes overnight, including on the border area, resulting in deaths and injuries and damage to civilian facilities.

The ministry said in a statement, "In accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces, all troop groups in the special military operation zone strictly adhered to the ceasefire regime starting at 6:00 PM on April 19 and remained in the lines and positions they had previously liberated."

The statement added, "Despite the announcement of the Easter truce, Ukrainian armed forces attempted to attack Russian positions in the areas of the settlements of Sukhaya Balka and Bogatyr in the Donetsk People's Republic overnight, which were repelled."

During the night, the enemy used 48 drones, including one over Crimea. Ukrainian units fired 444 times at our forces' positions with artillery and mortars, and carried out 900 strikes with quadcopter drones.
