Ten Palestinians, including children, were killed and others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted a tent for displaced persons west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Local Palestinian sources reported that ten people were killed last night and seven others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted tents for displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.

They explained that a large fire broke out in several tents as a result of the shelling, and the fire spread widely throughout the area. Bodies were recovered, and the wounded, including children and women in critical condition, were transported to hospitals in the city.

Four Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured in Israeli shelling of the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
