The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed on Tuesday that after 640 days of the extermination war waged by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people, the facts on the ground and politically are clear to the entire world: the enemy has failed miserably to break Gaza's will or subdue its resistance.
Hamas said in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "The slogans of 'crushing defeat' and 'complete eradication' of Hamas have fallen at the doorstep of explosive tunnels and complex resistance ambushes, and the illusion of 'liberating prisoners by force' has been shattered under the weight of successive blows."
"The Gideon vehicles were burned in Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis, and those inside were killed. Meanwhile, the lions of the resistance continue to confront us with equal courage and bravery despite the hunger and siege, while the Zionist enemy commits massacres against civilians and innocents."
"The resistance has forced the Zionist enemy to admit its impotence and the impossibility of combining the liberation of prisoners with the defeat of the resistance. Its axes of advance have been transformed into killing fields from which its soldiers do not emerge unscathed."
"The enemy's tireless attempts to displace our people and impose ethnic cleansing have been met with the legendary steadfastness of our people, who have stood up in the face of killing, hunger, and bombardment, refusing to have their future dictated by intelligence headquarters or political dictation tables," the Movement added.
Hamas concluded its statement by saying, "This complex failure—militarily, politically, and morally—exposes the falsity of the Zionist propaganda machine and proves once again that our battle has never been just a battle of missiles and weapons, but rather a battle of awareness, will, and patience."
