Sana'a - Saba:
The parks and gardens of the Capital Municipality are preparing to receive visitors from the capital and various governorates during the Eid al-Fitr holiday of 1446 AH.
Sameer Hamza, Director of the General Administration of Parks in the Capital, confirmed to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that 66 public parks across the governorates are ready to receive thousands of visitors during the Eid holiday. He indicated that 500 employees, including workers, supervisors, engineers, technicians, and security personnel, are tasked with providing services and caring for visitors.
He stated that over the past weeks, the parks have witnessed improvements, lighting, rehabilitation, afforestation, expansion of green spaces, and the provision of free rides. The zoo located in the Shamila area has also been replenished with a number of native Yemeni animals.
Hamza pointed out the intensification of efforts and the completion of technical and service preparations in the parks, in coordination with relevant security agencies and traffic police to provide a suitable environment for park visitors.
He called on citizens to maintain the facilities, cleanliness, and aesthetic appearance of public parks, emphasizing the importance of proper preparation and arrangements to create a pleasant atmosphere for citizens to spend the Eid holiday.
