The National Gathering of Palestinian Tribes, Clans, and Families announced in a statement its "categorical rejection of any suspicious attempts aimed at exploiting Palestinian clans and families to serve agendas aligned with the goals of Zionist aggression."
The Tribal Gathering (a non-governmental grassroots organization) explained in a press release on Thursday that "in light of the Zionist enemy's resumption of the war of extermination it has been waging against the Gaza Strip for a year and a half, and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, with all their national components, in the face of all the enemy's schemes, which it has attempted to implement under various pretexts (creating tribal alternatives, the generals' plan, humanitarian bubbles, etc.), all of these schemes have failed and have been shattered by the resilience and steadfastness of our people."
The statement noted that "in light of all this, suspicious groups emerged at a dubious time to mobilize some individuals on behalf of Palestinian families, clans, and tribes, raising demands that are completely in line with those of the Zionist enemy and its agents."
The group emphasized that Palestinian tribes, clans, and families are an integral component of the Palestinian people and have formed a solid barrier against one of the most dangerous schemes of the enemy, which has attempted to create local tribal alternatives loyal to it.
The group warned those speaking on behalf of Palestinian tribes and clans against participating in the suspicious movement, affirming its non-participation and calling on the Palestinian people not to be drawn into it.
The group announced the removal of tribal and national cover from the groups behind this movement, affirming its support for any measures taken by the relevant authorities against them. It also called for a firm confrontation with those attempting to sow discord among the Palestinian people at this exceptional time in the history of the Palestinian cause.
At the end of the statement, the group paid tribute to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, their valiant resistance, and the souls of the righteous martyrs. It wished a speedy recovery for the wounded and freedom for the prisoners, affirming that victory will be the ally of the Palestinian people.
