Sana'a - Saba:
A new concrete water tank, funded by the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Society, was inaugurated in Habra area of Shu'ub district in the capital Sana'a.
The project, overseen by Engineer Mohammed Mada'is, Director of the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation in the Capital Sana'a, aims to serve approximately 10,000 residents.
The 200-cubic-meter tank, costing $77,880, is designed to address the growing water needs of the community. Engineer Mada'is emphasized the corporation's commitment to building large-capacity water tanks across the capital and ensuring fair water distribution. He also noted the need for collaboration to complete other ongoing water projects.
Officials from the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Society, including Engineer Ahmed Wahab and Engineer Badr al-Humaidan, expressed their commitment to supporting similar projects in coordination with the Local Water Corporation, aiming to alleviate the water challenges faced by Yemeni citizens.
