The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, called on Tuesday for pilgrims to head to the blessed mosque to commemorate Laylat al-Qadr, starting from sunset next Wednesday until dawn on Thursday.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, Sheikh Sabri appealed to Arab and Islamic countries to intensify their efforts and unify their positions to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque from the threats threatening it.

The calls emphasized the need to remain at Al-Aqsa to thwart any Judaization schemes.
With the advent of the last ten days of Ramadan, the enemy has escalated its restrictions on worshippers in Quds, especially around Al-Aqsa.
Despite these restrictions, Palestinians continue their efforts to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform I'tikaf (seclusion) there, and the mosque's courtyards have become a point of steadfastness and defiance in the face of the enemy.
